About Ntubu Project
Project Description
Ntubu Minerals Limited was granted Mining Rights for **License No. 39244-HQ-LEL** on 31st December 2024. The company is currently fulfilling the required compliance measures, including Environmental Project Brief (EPB) applications and obtaining community consents. To initiate exploration operations, Ntubu Minerals Limited has engaged Minehub Resources Limited for technical support. A geochemical soil sampling survey was proposed and is now being executed. The plan involves the collection of approximately 1,500 soil samples to analyze the geochemical distribution within the license area.
Project History
31st December 2024- License Granted. 22nd January 2025- Minehub Resources Limited Engaged. 7th February 2025- Consent Approved by District Commissioner, Kapiri Mposhi. 9th February 2025- Tenure visited 10th February 2024- Courtesy paid to senior Headman Kanyanta.
Community Engagement and Consent
The 39244-HQ-LEL tenure falls within Chief Chipepo's Chiefdom. However, due to unresolved issues regarding the Chief’s recognition, the jurisdiction currently falls under the District Commissioner (DC) of Kapiri Mposhi, Mr. Francis Hasalama. Ntubu Minerals Limited sought and obtained consent from the District Commissioner to conduct exploration activities on the tenure. Additionally, a courtesy call was made to Senior Headman Chinyanta, who also granted consent for the planned exploration program.
